Engineer · Independent builder

Give me an unfamiliar problem, and I'll find the system inside it.

That's been true on a maintenance floor and it's been true teaching myself a discipline I'd never touched before. I'm now looking to bring that same habit — learn fast, build a system, deliver — into a business operations or product-facing role.

The short version

The same approach, applied to something new

I spent close to three years as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer — real equipment, real downtime, real consequences for getting it wrong. That work shaped how I approach anything unfamiliar: understand it, break it into a system, document what actually works. When curiosity led me toward Generative AI — first AI image generation, then AI video generation — I applied the same approach: no course, just direct experimentation, documentation, and prompt iteration. That turned into an independent freelance business on Fiverr, where I worked directly with international clients, managing everything from the first inquiry through pricing, revisions, and final delivery myself. That specific technology was what the business happened to be built around — the habit behind it is the part that carries forward.

How I got here

Two chapters, one habit

Engineering

Preventive maintenance, root-cause analysis, and 50+ SOPs written to make repair work repeatable rather than reactive.

Independent learning

No course, no mentor — direct experimentation with Generative AI until an independent freelance business on Fiverr, working with international clients, was reliably paying for itself.

What's next

Applying the same pattern — learn fast, systemize, deliver — toward business operations, implementation, and broader leadership responsibility over time.

Evidence

An independent freelance business, self-taught and built around Generative AI — sourcing clients, pricing, managing revisions, and delivering consistently enough to earn repeat, international engagements, verifiable on my Fiverr profile. Fifty-plus SOPs authored in a safety-relevant maintenance role. The specific tools mattered less than the discipline behind using them — the evidence here is about independent learning and delivery.

How I work

Process over output

Client work itself is confidential, so what's shown on the Work page is the process behind it — how a brief becomes a finished, reliable deliverable — rather than the deliverables themselves.
